Playing devil's advocate and not having seen the game...

Looks like the Leeds forward is kicking the Chelsea defender whereas the Liverpool defender kicked the Everton forward

In the most basic of assessments obviously

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Just seen it. 100% the Chelsea player kicked the Leeds player. But yeah, he stayed on his feet so got nowt.

Well**** stayed on his feet too though, until he flopped on the ground after taking 3 steps.

Poveda actually has the ball too, so its even more of a foul. Well**** was nowhere near the thing and was never getting it.

Its pure corruption and a real life Mario Kart rubber banding effect in full force. They just don't want us to stroll away with the league again and are making full use of their abilities to manipulate the technology to keep things in check. We are getting absolutely butt****ed here.

Just watched MOTD day, given the Robertson one it's shocking that VAR didn't even look at the Chilwell one. Does VAR just decide to look at pens when someone goes to the floor because that's a **** system. Also why do MOTD have to compare to a Salah incident to complain that none of them should be pens? **** off. The issue here is that the referees are **** and VAR is a nonsense there is no consistency whatsoever.

Also how the **** was the Pogba goal allowed to stand? MOTD saying VAR don't have the technology to show that the ball was out, but MOTD do WTF?

Was there an angle where it showed that the ball had crossed the line? There was none to me, so without conclusive evidence the decision should stand.
                  Are we winning?

It's a Hawk-eye reconstruction that MOTD showed I have no idea what camera angles they actually have. I agree that if there isn't an angle there isn't much they could do. I am just finding the use of technology incredibly frustrating what is reviewed, what isn't reviewed, what technology is used and what technology isn't. MOTD can say with certainty that a goal shouldn't stand but VAR can't. It just feels like you can manipulate the outcome of games not just by the VAR decisions that are/aren't made but also by deciding what is and what isn't given a second look. (I'm not saying that outcomes are being manipulated but it looks like it would be so easy to do if you wanted to...)

Yet balls that veer an inch over the line are given as throw ins? ****s me off no end when you know the whole ball isn't even half way across the line.

It would be easy to solve this issue to have cameras covering these angles.

There is certainly an argument for reviews of corners. For some teams, that's their biggest goal threat. One sort of loop hole now if that linos don't flag for offsides unless they're blatant, but if the ball goes out for a corner, the corner stands even if it was offside. Seen a few of those this season.

The sending off in the West Brom game today is proof positive they're making it up as they go along.
