Practically last kick of the chelsea Brighton game, the ball hits the chelsea defender and goes out for what would be a corner, but the ref judged that it was a handball and gives a penalty. Then var check and decide it wasn’t a handball. But then they restart with a drop ball giving chelsea possession, instead of awarding the corner. Like I can understand why they do it that way, but still feels a bit wrong.
ref blew for pen before ball went out so had to give a drop ball when overturned; mad.....
Naaa the ball was well out before he blew his whistle, but I guess because he hadn’t awarded a corner, var can’t do that- just overturn the penalty decision.
Wouldn’t be that big of a deal normally, but when it’s last kick of the game and they were 1 goal behind- would have been a good opportunity to send the keeper forward and roll the dice
VAR all over the place again this weekend, VAR gave that pen against us but looked at similar incident in the Villa Arsendl game and decided it wasn't a pen.
There was a foul in the Sheff Utd Brentford game which was worse than the one Jones got sent off for earlier in the season, but that wasn't deemed a red. They just make **** up as the go along
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

VAR has seemingly made the game more inconsistent.
Released VAR footage from the Arsenal disallowed goal at the weekend. A few thoughts:
1. Why do they not look at the way he initially brings the ball down, because to me it is questionable as to whether that is chest shoulder or arm.
2. They do not mention the ball hitting Cash's arm at all (IMO he is way too close to give a pen for that)
3. They say that they suspect it hits Havertz arm, now I know that they are looking for evidence that it doesn't hit the arm to over turn, but from the video it clearly does hit his arm, why not just say that it does? I know that there is a difference between the ball hitting him and it definitely being handball (or not enough to overturn onfield decision).
I feel that these should all be considered in doing the VAR properly even if they are immediately ruled out. My instinct on this is that the ref probably got it right but the VAR process is a cluster****
