The only way 4th don't get CL is if English teams with both the Europa and CL, and for winners of both of those to also be out of the top 4 in the league. Possible but unlikely.

I'm happy with the Arsenal result today, it keeps Man Utd in the top 4 race, meaning that they really need to get a result against Man City which is good for us.

FWIW I've heard the following, Ole was handed the wheel despite misgivings in the UK, I believe a number (inc Ferguson) told them to wait until the summer, but the lack of candidates willing to work the the first team squad was minimal, pretty much everyone wanted a war chest. Bus driver Ole has agreed to work with a DOF, but a continental DOF, hence the unease with Phelan, Phelan wants DOF or OFF..... meanwhile Micheal Carricks still on GBP4m a year.......

Part 2, GBP2m has been set aside to restore and fix varying issues around the ground and areas in summer 19. Refurbs of all suites to take place in 2020 and 2021. No renovation can take place until Railtrack agree on the train line behind Old Trafford with talks still ongoing as line not often used.
Utd asked about upgrading tram links so more trams could arrive but baulked at cost to them, decided to look at putting more car parking on.
