Good response. Screw everyone in Madrid. No need to be nice now. Screw Zidane, screw the fans and screw the other players. Everyone thinks he has the plague anyway - actually might be the only injury he hasn't picked up yet.

Reading between the lines, this is the first time that money seems to be at the forefront of a manager's mind /anger issues. Hope they end up signing Giroud, Drinkwater and Barkley.

I can understand why he might think about running down his contract as a **** you to them, but it's career suicide, he's 29 now he'd be 32 by the time his contract runs out, if he hasn't played for 3 years where is he going to go and what would he be like as a player.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                  Well said Gareth

If Madrid were daft enough to have offered the contract, they can honour it

                    For 50 million euros, I doubt he's give a ****.

But let's not pretend that he isn't a bellend.

You'd think he's at a financial stage that it's not about the money but it seems both sides are thinking about that first and foremost

How can he take Zidane seriously?

Like the rest of us when we used to consider Zizou it was all

                          Now it is very much

At 32 and with a gazillion in the banco he wont give a toss about where hes going to play next

he is so injury prone, why would a top team take the risk?

And the only mid table team who would take the chance would be the mancs. Agent woodward is probably already agreeing to write off RM's liabilty as i type
