I watched your game - a lot of hard work but lacking class in a few areas.........but the nucleus of the side is young and I think the future is promising. I thought your midfield would swarm Modric based on what ye did vs England but he is just absolute class.
I watched him dismantle Ireland when he was in his pomp in Poznań 9 years ago (wow.....time has flown) and he still looks class now when he has time. I’m sure the country had 3 great days and I’d love to be where Scotland are from a footballing perspective

Worst Spanish side ive ever seen. How we can go from having an absolute dearth of world class forwards for the last 25 years +, to now having zero. Its an utter disgrace. Morata is so so so ****. Moreno isn't much better despite his form for Villareal and the rest.....meh!
Also no crafty AM's anymore. They're all plodding Atletico Madrid DCMs that just knock the ball around sideways and cant shoot.
The most dangerous player is Alba FFS. Jesus, we're Scotland! Our best player is the ****ing LB, our midfield do nothing and our strikers cant finish!

Mad though it seems, given his one cap, 20 years and lack of experience, but we really missed Gilmour. What he brought to the team V England we didn’t have last night and that was ball retention.
All day I was reminding myself of the class players that Croatia had and that they got to the World Cup final three years ago. And that proved to be the case.
They could be a very dangerous opponent in the knockouts.
