Spurs have been **** since Harry Kane returned. Won their opening three without him, staring down me the barrel of three defeats with him.

I'd be curious to hear Nuno's honest opinion on it. I'm sure he'd have been happy to cash in and build his own squad, but has been stitched up because of the politics involved.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostSpurs have been **** since Harry Kane returned. Hindsight is great obviously, but Spurs were never gonna be in the mix with their current squad but if they had of reinvested £100m+ wisely, they could have surprised a few.If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Kane clearly doesn't want to be there anymore and his negativity is rubbing off on everyone else, bad, bad situation and I feel sorry for Santo unlucky for him joined Spurs at just the wrong time, no doubt he's wishing he stayed at Wolves nowLast edited by ~LFCHistory~; 26-09-21, 09:38 PM.

I wonder did the way they spunked the Gareth Bale money on Soldado (£26m), Lamela (£30m), Capoue (£9m), Chiriches (£9m), Paulinho (£17m) and Chadli (£7m) prevent Levy from cashing in again.
Or else he was thinking that he might get one more season out of Kane and then sell him for more money again next season. Maybe 150 to 175m. Perhaps his thinking was that football finances would recover even more after a year of full gates again etc.
In reality, Levy priced him out of a move in 2021.....Kane could play himself out of a move in 2022.
Christmas............fack

I dislike both Spurs and Kane so am happy with the current situation. It's unlikely I know but I'd love it if he had such a **** season no one was interested, so Spurs have turned down **** loads of cash and are left with a player who has turned to ****.
Obviously he will recover his form at someone point, so best just enjoy it while it lasts
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I'm not sure City will come back, if he has a poor first half of the season would City be willing to pay the same or more than they had turned down in the summer? Similarly I doubt Spurs or Levy would accept that he has become a poorer/less valuable player based on a few months, so I doubt they would be willing to drop their price. Not sure there is much movement here unless Spurs are doing so badly they are desperate to sell and rebuild.Originally posted by Fivex View PostIf he keeps it up they’ll need to drop him at some point you’d think for a few games, they’re in a no-win situation now really. Tbf I could still see him moving to City in Jan for the £100m or whatever, that would obviously be the best outcome for everyone (apart from City
)
I worry about what City could do with a proper striker. I'd rather it be Kane than a Haaland or Mbappe or someone at that level, even if he is able to recover his form.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
