I think Arsenal will surprise many this season. They've so many good young players, if they don't explode this season, it'll be soon enough.

Beat the **** teams consistently and it goes a long way in this league - they have started wellOriginally posted by Buzzo View PostIt’s Bournemouth at away after 3 games. I’m going to go out on a limb and say it’s a bit early to be drawing any season long conclusions. I’d wait until after the World Cup.
He’s had a great start, but let’s see how he handles a full season playing every game.

They have definitely had three good games. And improved, which they should given they have spent over £100m again.Originally posted by Irishnev View PostBeat the **** teams consistently and it goes a long way in this league - they have started well
But the fact that we are impressed they have won three in a row beating Palace, Leicester and Bournemouth is probably more instructive of how **** they had become.
Every season there is a team that starts well and falls away. Maybe it will be Arsenal this season. They still look weak in midfield to me.Modifying post.

I’m sure the fact that we failed to beat palace at our place and drew with Fulham, who must be equivalent to one of Leicester or Bournemouth, and look weak in midfield, makes seeing three wins in the bounce fairly impressive,Originally posted by Buzzo View PostThey have definitely had three good games. It's a 38 game season, I don't think a run of three results against bottom/mid table sides is particularly impressive.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostI’m sure the fact that we failed to beat palace at our place and drew with Fulham, who must be equivalent to one of Leicester or Bournemouth, and look weak in midfield, makes seeing three wins in the bounce fairly impressive,

Cracking header, made all the more delicious because it shouldn't have really been a free kick at all or yellow for SterlingOriginally posted by Pepe79 View Post2 good goals there.
An outstanding howler followed by a great header.
