MOTD consensus was that the keeper ****ed up and it wasn’t a foul. But i think it was a foul, or at least would be given as such in any other scenario, most of the time. Lloris was first to the ball, blocked from going for a second touch by an opposition player. The kind of thing salah doesn’t get but most players would. That it was the keeper and he made a bad call to come for it isn’t relevant.

From the one angle and distance it is difficult to tell if Wilson has deliberately blocked him or Loris is just too close to go round him and it is a coming together. Doesn't definitely appear as if he has changed direction or stopped dead in his tracks to block Loris (yes he stops moving forward towards but not as if he was moving across and stops that movement).
But he got the ball and was blocked and didn’t go down any more dramatically than any other outfield player would. It seems that a higher standard was set because he’s a goalkeeper and generally regarded as having made a bad call to come out to challenge for it.

Having now looked at the replay from a different angle its a definite foul from me. You can clearly see Wilson's arm come out to impede GK.

It’s two players going head on for the same ball, one gets to it and the other doesn’t and blocks the progress of the one that does. Happens all the time and nobody brings out the ‘what can he do, he can’t disappear’ argument. The foul is caused by going for a ball that you don’t/can’t get to. I mentioned this one because I’m actually quite confused by much of the reaction to it.

Nah, you can write as much as you want - it’s a goal for me Clive.
