The offside rule seems quite broken. Arsenal’s winner was onside because he was played onside by defender who had made a run to mark another Arsenal player in an offside position. The offside attacker is ignored because of not interfering, but the defender trying to mark him is counted when it comes to offside lines. Kind of seems perverse to conclude that the offside player wasn’t interfering really. There’s just no sense to it anymore.
