Well that was a surprising half. Spurs looked well organized and dangerous on the break. Odd City line up, seems so underwhelming to what we are used to seeing at City. Do expect City to score though.

City keeper got the yips, and lucky not to get a red card.

It may be too early to say it and I might be wrong but I think City have a few deeper issues.

The guy who ran the club has left and he was one of the best, the one they got from Barcelona years ago that got them going in the first place. We’ve seen how it can drop off when you lose one of the best in the business.

The recruitment doesn’t seem the same. Reijnders And Marmoush look great but that squad doesn’t look as good as you’d expect for City.

But the biggest issue is Pep. The uncertainty over when he’ll go is hanging over them. And he’s gone through things away from football that seemed to have really affected him.

Just looking at the City lineup it’s crazy how unfamiliar it is. 6 or 7 who are at least under 2 seasons as first teamers for them.
