For me the disliking of them goes back to when Clough slagged off the Liverpool supporters at Hillsborough, then sold his "story" about them to the rag and then even put the same lies in one of his biographies.

Yes he gave some sort of apology years and years later but his words did a lot of damage and a lot of those lies became the "truths" that still get chanted at grounds to this day.

Yes he gave some sort of apology years and years later but his words did a lot of damage and a lot of those lies became the "truths" that still get chanted at grounds to this day.

Clough has this legendary status and rightfully so for winning a league with derby ****in county ffs as well as going to forest and winning a league and European cup then with them as well twice.

However, the more I hear and read about him, he was a ****in prick of a person. Mark Crossley was on the stick to football podcast a few months ago talking about him and obviously loved him, but admitted that he was a ****in bully. Himself and Keane waxing lyricals about him but for every person like that, you can be sure that he ****ed over 20+ people. What he did to Justin fashanu was ****in disgusting in any era. And he was a dodgy cunt too with the whole transfer bungs thing he had going.

Was Clough a bully, defo but so were all of them at the time, but what he said about Hillsbrough was not right/okay/or anything - He can get ****ed for that for ever IMO
