Arsenal look a bit one dimensional and really hard to know what to make of City. They miss De Bruyne badly. Donarumma is a big presence in goal and a great shot stopper. But he can’t play out as effectively which changes how they play enormously.

Neither team particularly impressive on today’s performance.

That was a lovely finish from Martinelli to be fair.

Every league game is huge but if we win at Palace next Saturday, that surely puts pressure on Arsenal going to Newcastle on Sunday

They then have a few easy fixtures on paper

I’d completely forgotten Arsenal played early on Tuesday while city played on Thursday. I know Arsenal were away but they also had that extra time to recover. Get at them right from the start and make them work hard and test them out.

One dimensional in big games, when they are allowed to play they are good. Arteta is a coward

Yeah, they are a decent team for sure. But I’ve (as you alude to) never seen them go after a team in a big game. They were lucky to get the point today as other than a short spell after HT they were creating **** all.

Arteta really gets some underhand questions. They are pretty inane questions for everyone but there are some obvious questions re his team selection etc that are overlooked.

It's annoying as he's so easily rattled at the best of times.

The rhetoric around Arsenal is a bit nuts alright......if they did win the league, it will be portrayed as a result of them trusting the process and him being the modern day Wenger developing players. The fact that they have spent fortunes without ever really making large incoming transfer fees or profit will be bypassed. If Mourinho was in English football and at a club that was challenging, I'm pretty sure he would call out arsenal spending.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are portrayed as a chequebook team overlooking the fact that this summer was a total anomaly and our net spend over the last 3 transfer windows still puts us a lot lower than our rivals

The pair of them should be banned for 15 games. Embarrassing
                        Football without Origi is nothing

They’ve got a pretty strong squad to be fair. Interesting though how many first teamers are on the bench though, rather than having the night off like our first teamers
