It has eaten itself..... the value of staying in the Premier league has made clubs go full on stat crazy and the league is just full of huge athletes playing percentage football. All that money on long throws and corners.....total dog****.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostStrength of the Prem perhaps been slightly over stated?
Can't remember when I last enjoyed a really good Premier league game as a neutral fan. Even the liverpool games feel like a duty as opposed to entertainment these days.
So its ****in great that the likes of Madrid and psg and atletico all made **** of the Premier league opposition this week. Playing good attacking skilful football

United under Fergie quite often scored their first goal from corners. Three or four players would form a little semi-circle of space for Steve Bruce to run into and the ball would be delivered to that spot. As a way of breaking a deadlock and opening up the game it was a decent tactic. Nobody would have a problem if Arsenal did the same but they've taken it too far.
Aside from Arsenal, I suppose Brentford like a long throw, as do Palace. Everyone plays out from the back though. There's a lot less hoofing so at least there's that. Legohead really is like a Spanish Tony Pulis though.Never knowingly optimistic

Do we know if this is likely to impact on the Uefa coefficients? We need the EPL to have 5 places next season and even then the odds are against us.Originally posted by frank the tank View PostIt has eaten itself..... the value of staying in the Premier league has made clubs go full on stat crazy and the league is just full of huge athletes playing percentage football. I’ve not seen that much of Endrick but obviously I’ve read the hype surrounding him so I was surprised to see he’s as one dimensional as he is. Only ever cuts back inside onto his left foot, doesnt get to the bi-line & looks lazy but then he does what everyone knows he’s going to do & cuts inside & gets the equaliser for Lyon. Is this his usual performance?Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.
