I kind of agree that too much football is a key issue. It's also true that football is the past seemed better because most of it was seen on motd highlights, whereas we now have 3 times as many live matches and see all of the **** bits that have always been there but edited out.

I meant to respond but was distracted by my own bet. Can't be cashing out for double your states , well I suppose you could if your total odds are 5/4 or 6/4 type levels but 4 players to be booked is going to be much more than that!

It shows the naivety of some PL teams in Europe especially when you are not exposed to this level season after season, you can be taken apart by the bigger teams who have the know how.
The likes of City, Arsenal & us can stand their ground & compete but others will be found short coming up against elite teams. These elite teams are probably operating at 70% of their capability in their respective leagues & turn it on in Europe whereas the PL teams, it seems the opposite. The PL fixtures & intensity means that you have to leave it all on the pitch week in, week out so when it comes to the business end of the CL, they are usually knackered.

Yeah there is a case of "there's no easy games in the Premier league" alright.

However, the football is more based on skill as well....as opposed to robotic ****e we've seen this season in the EPL
