So ****ing what? I'm excited if we compete but I don't care if others have been more successful - it's not like any of us had a hand in it.
If Arsenal fans bleat on about it, just say well done and walk away. If you start citing alehouse football etc it just means you've taken it hard and it opens you up to ridicule."We oil the jaws of the war machine and feed it with our babies."

What?
We have had Chelsea, City, PSG and others sports washing and just buying titles, we have World cups being held in the likes of russia and in the sports washing nations and this year we have probably the most corrupt world cup ever, but it is Arsenal, a club run within it's own means just like we are, potentially winning stuff that finishes footy?
Yeah Arteta comes across as an insufferable deluded tit at the best of times, yeah their "style" of footy is bland, cynical and agricultural. Yeah a section of their support is a whingey and overly reactive as a section of our own, but in the grand scheme of things, other than their own supporters who will enjoy it of course, who cares if they win some silverware this season.
From a club pov it is a non plastic club winning something. The irritating stuff about Arsenal is just noise that does not harm the game.
At worst Arsenal winning the big ones is a benign annoyance, at best it is a poke in the eye of the sports washers.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

I was at the Hearts game last night, Tynecastle was absolutely bouncing. 3 games away from a first league title in 66 years. 3 games away from a first non OF title in 40 years.
Hearts have fallen at the final hurdle before back in 1985/86, 10 mins from a league title and blew it, so it’s still all to play for.
What an atmosphere though. Just incredible, some supporters pouring decades worth of frustration into the game.Modifying post.

I love this. Was following it yesterday, nervous like I was a Hearts fan. Would be such an epic achievement, and what a validation for Tony Blooms algorithm!Originally posted by Buzzo View PostI was at the Hearts game last night, Tynecastle was absolutely bouncing. 3 games away from a first league title in 66 years. 3 games away from a first non OF title in 40 years.

I only care because they took like 2-3 of our songs and also do the klopp fist bump.Originally posted by DerKrampus View PostSo ****ing what? I'm excited if we compete but I don't care if others have been more successful - it's not like any of us had a hand in it.

The thing is, this is so far ahead of schedule. Bloom reckoned he would turn Hearts into a force within ten years. It’s really testament to the Team and the manager who have delivered a season nobody saw coming. He was at the match last night and looked to be loving it.
Allied to some amazing signings. Claudio Braga came in from Alesunds in Norway and was just named SPL player of the season.
It is ****ing nervey times, but pressure is a privilege right???
Last nights win was gargantuan. Did it the hard way having been absolutely ****e first half.Modifying post.
