Make it permissable to full on boot a player into row F if they run away from the ball to block a player trying to get past them while 'shielding' the ball out of play. Make them play the ball.

If you defend by putting your hands on your opponent and pushing and pulling them that’s not football, that’s rugby. A different sport.

Remove pens as the reward.

The hand ball / pen rule was surely initially instilled to separate out field players from goalkeepers.

Give indirect fks to all but deliberate hand ball attempting to stop the ball from being a goal - ie from crossing the line.

Give red card no penalty for foul again except for foul stopping deliberate chance of goal. Give indirect fks for everything borderline or soft.

Give zero ****s what people think until the rule has bedded in for a few years.

A penalty (and likely a goal) for a ****ing cross accidentally deflecting onto someone’s arm is ridiculous.

The game needs to return to goals by skill not goals but deceit or by virtue of some lame rule.

I’m fairly certain Buzzo would fail the corruption criteria assessment for the role though - having a strong moral compass, high ethical standards and generally giving an **** are a huge red flags in the FIFA recruitment process!

That's a ****ing shocking decision to disallow that goal, that **** happens in every game, every weekend. Weak keeping, thought it was a terrible decision that had just decided the league.
