            From the bbc...
Newcastle's 33-year-old defender Kieran Trippier, who retired from England duty last week, has agreed a deal with Yorkshire side Eyupspor. (Sportsdigitale - in Turkish)

Leicester appear to have had their appeal upheld that the body hearing the case against them does not have jurisdiction because they had already been relegated in the 2022/23 season by the time the accounting period concluded on 30 June 2023.

Sounds like the Prem legal team couldn’t organise a piss up in a brewery.

This really does not bode well for the 115 charges against City…

It's not the Prem legal team handling the 115 charges.

Different issues, Leicester can rightly argue that PSR rules don't apply to them if they weren't a PL team. In the same way UEFA CL rules don't apply to Chelsea.

They'll likely to be broadened. But yeah, i'm a little cynical about City as well, i think a technicality will surface of some description.

The Leicester one was timing - i.e they ceased being a PL club when they sent back their share certificate mid June and the full season ended 30th June ?

But that’s only going forward, it can’t be applied retroactively. How may other loopholes are out there if something this simple is still available to Leicester?
