The mad world on the football manager merry-go-round
Last season, some people wanted Stuart Pearce as England manager, weeks ago he was under pressure and facing the sack until he put his daughter's cuddly toy in the dug out
Last season, McLaren has a fan run up to him tear up and throw his season ticket at him, months later he was England manager.
Pardew got West Ham up, kept them up, got them to a cup final, beaten on penalties, gets 2 players forced on his squad (Tevez and Maschareno) which clearly unsettles the squad, loses Dean Ashton, has a captain who wants away, beats Arsenal (he's a hero), loses to Bolton-he's finished.
Crazy

These defeats are very hard for him to digest(ive). Sadly it looks like WHam are cream crackered - he should have bought himself another Club.........
Magnusson owns about 5% tops, the main backer is Björgólfur Guðmundsson and he is the money man behind this. Magnusson ran the Icelandic FA and I have to say that on the business level he did fine but he made some management choices that many (including) me did not agree with and I thought he gave some coaches to long with the national team. I´m not sure how this will end, they are clever off the field but need to get the next managerial appointment right (if Pardew is sacked), and I´m not sure they will do that.
