Yeah, I'm not impressed either.

There has been some excitement, but mainly from circumstance rather than quality of play.

Spain v Portugal remains the best game I have watched by miles.

Spain game only one that has been any use imo. I can't remember a more boring tournament, totally snoozefest. Same opinion I have had since the first round of games... everyone looks knackered.

I reckon you always got tight games, but their was still some decent football, and normally some cracking goals. What has the best goal been so far? Ronaldos free kick?

I reckon the lack of decent African teams is pretty noticeable. As is the lack of overall quality from all the leading nations.

Fair play to Southgate, he has made the correct decision with lineups. Quite impressed by that.

Overall performances have been average bar the odd few games,Knockout stages will see performance levels upped,Could be England's best chance to win the World Cup

This is England's best chance in a world cup that I can remember. Not because this England side are particularly good but because in current form there are no outstanding sides in there. It's difficult to pick a winner or a team that you would fear coming up against on the showings so far.

Perhaps this is because the lesser sides have stepped up a bit, but you would have expected some of the top side to put in better performanceshape than they have.

The runner's up half of the draw looks much easier on paper but I guess they are perhaps the more form sides than those in the other half of the draw they are probably more about a working system than reliant on individual players which I guess could make them more tricky than they appear on paper.

As for England they still haven't been tested by anyone close to a half decent side so I think there is a danger of hyping them up still going on. Even though Belgium are a good side they wouldn't be a real test as there is no pressure on tonight's game.
