Mate, I was in the Sandon having a pre-match pint when they called it off. 400 miles is a long round trip for a pint and a curry!

Must find some pubs and curry houses nearer to where I live!

        Indeed

I've been happier. More annoying that it was playable 20 mins after it was postponed!

I've been lucky enough to get to most home games this season so far, so the journey is something of a piece of cake to me but the petrol costs tend to spiral.

I'm lucky in that the day after a home midweek game I can work from home thereby getting a good night's sleep. At my age, I can't miss my beauty sleep!

Maybe I do, maybe I don't. Its not really my business. These questions tend to open cans of worms.

I think you should be more worried that I have revealed that you would prefer a night on the piss when you had a ticket in your hand! Oh and that means I've retracted that offer of a lift if you were ever stuck
Dont worry mate, I'm sure the tenner you will soon owe me will help pay for the train up instead.

My dad had a season ticket in Kemlyn Road in the 70s, and I used to go every home game, but since I moved away, I've not been able to go. It's my lad's birthday and he's never been to anfield and wanted to know if I could get any tickets and I've been lucky enough to get two for Saturday.
He doesn't know about the tickets, and I'm not going to tell him until Friday evening, so it'll be a surprise.
Only question, where can I park?
            I wish it was Saturday!!!
You'll notice some big changes from the 70's but there's still no place I'd rather be. Would love to read about your match day experience if you get the time. Have a good one
