Can I afford not to put a tenner on this accumulator now ??

I now confidently predict that the top four will be as follows:

        Man U 82 pts
        Chelsea 82pts
        Pool 78 pts
        Arsenal 71 pts
"With Ron Yeats in defence, we could play Arthur Askey in goal."

If you say we're generally about 1.4 at home, accept say 2.5 vs top 4 teams, and around 2s away from home, then I make it.

          1.4^5 * 2.5 ^ 3 * 2 ^ 8 = 21500 - 1!

(In old speak 2/5 against most teams, 6/4 vs good teams, Evens away)

If it was only 4 points, it'd be gut wrenching to know we lost it becasue of the results against Blackburn and Everton.

All depends on who signs whom in the next few weeks

I think she was only mother of Jesus, although I may be wrong.

No, she was a single parent but had a ruck of kids all living in a council estate just outside Jerusalem...

Jesus’ brothers are mentioned in several Bible verses. Matthew 12:46, Luke 8:19, and Mark 3:31 say that Jesus’ mother and brothers came to see Him. The Bible tells us that Jesus had four brothers: James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas (Matthew 13:55). The Bible also tells us that Jesus had sisters, but they are not named or numbered (Matthew 13:56). In John 7:1-10, His brothers go on to the festival while Jesus stays behind. In Acts 1:14, His brothers and mother are described as praying with the disciples. Later, in Galatians 1:19, it mentions that James was Jesus’ brother.

All men were Jesus's brothers though.

Last night on a HIGNFY rerun Paul Merton repeated someone else's argument that Jesus must have been black since he called everyone brother, liked Gospel and couldn't get a fair trial.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.
