    1. New investment so not many we can not afford.

    2. Everyone has a price.

    3. New investment, new stadium, Rafa, great history all very good reasons to come.

So, Torres, Kaka, Podolski, Villa, Huntelaar, Henry, Tevez, ......

If the investment happens, we need a new way of thinking.
( I´m not talking about Chelsea spending )

Funny how all the ones you reeled off came from abroad.

      see a trend?

      Buy British!
      Yeah, like Ashton

Seriously though, our scouts ought to be focussing on more British talent in my opinion. They are used to the speed of the game, the style of the game, the weather, the pitches, the culture, everything.
We should be looking for a new Rush, there must be players with the potential to make it. It always seems to me that are Scouts are in Scandinavia or South America.

I think Kevin Doyle may have it. Or Nugent at Preston. They might be worth a 4th striker gamble.

Billy Sharp seems to have potential

I think you are going to be in for a shock, and not a nice one.
We aren't going to be splashing around 50-60 million per window mate, more like 30-40.
Henry doesn't seem to have a price as Roman couldn't get an offer accepted.
Ronaldinho doesn't seem to have a price either.
Villa wasn't too impressed with Rafa or our stadium last time a move for him was talked up.
Clubs will not let their best players go. Do you really think Chelsea would sell any players to us? So every player does not "have a price".

Talksport read out a rumour that Henry may be signing for LFC for £35m in their show this evening. I know its bollocks but it's amazing how crap makes national radio!

there are no guarantees, but you have to consider what you could recoup if they flopped here in the PL as well.

And what's with mentioning Tevez? He's not pulled up many trees at Upton Park has he? Is he really going to take us to the next level? The evidence would suggest not.
