Cisse and Kuyt would be more potent up front than anything we currently have. I was hoping to see Owen and Cisse up front for LFC, sadly it wasn't to be. He may not be the most accomplished or easiest player to coach, but Cisse has more goal threat about him than any other striker in our squad other than Kuyt.

My arse he does. Perhaps more than Fowler but not more than the other 3. And besides, I'd sooner have those 4 than Cisse, the grumpy, moaning, ignorant, lazy prick.Originally posted by anfieldanfield View PostIf he's not good enough what does that make Bellamy, Crouch, Pennant or Fowler then ?
Cisse offers as much, if not more than any of the aforementioned players.White liquid in a bottle = Milk

Anyway, like I said he has a lot of pros.Originally posted by anfieldanfield View PostNo.
We might get something like that in the summer though....
Compared to Bellamy, he has IMO more composure, tec., finishing, positional sense. The only thing Cisse really has on Bellamy IMHO is pace and physical presence.
As for the others, they are just different players and do different thing so we need them over Cisse.

So you'd prefer Pennant over Cisse on the right flank ?Originally posted by einar View PostAnyway, like I said he has a lot of pros.

He's still not the answer though.just another stop gap.IMO Fowler has more natural skill and finishing abililty than all our strikers put togtether but alas he has no pace.As Hansen said last night, pace used to be an advantage, now its a neccessity.
get somebody with Cisse's pace with Robbies skill and we're in Heaven

You cant deny Cisse was lazy.Originally posted by anfieldanfield View PostNothing of note, it seems.
Rafa's not flawless, he's made mistakes.
I challenge ANYONE to tell me we wouldn't have been better off keeping Cisse for the right wing and leaving Pennant to rot at Birmingham, giving us seven million extra to spend.

Or if we sold Cisse and had an extra £7m to spend, may be we would have got Alves instad of Pennant...Originally posted by anfieldanfield View PostNothing of note, it seems.

And do you really think Cisse would have been happy playing right-wing, and got on with it instead of displaying that petulant attitude that became so familiar?White liquid in a bottle = Milk

Yes, AA, I would. Because to be effective Cisse needs to play through the middle. He's a goalscorer and his pace through the middle scares CBs sh*tless - there aren't that many with pace, never mind his pace. How many times have we had a one on one witht the keeper this year and scored? Not many. Say what you like about Cisse, but he gets in the positions, he may not be the most composed, but he scores goals.

You mean the off-side positions? Doesnt have the intelligence to play for us. He may be quick, but if he cant time his runs or anticipate the balls, he's uselessOriginally posted by Kopite_Colin View PostYes, I would. I lost track of the times he put his pace to good use,got one and one and drove the ball down the keepers throat.Pace is all he has IMOOriginally posted by Kopite_Colin View PostYes, AA, I would.
