It's one of these situations which show how hard it is to make laws work.

It was clearly designed to stop transfers being done where the buying team was always planning to sell the player on - ie as part of a scam.

I remember a situation in scotland where either hearts or hibs didn't want to sell a player to Rangers - they sold him to an english team who sold him straight to Rangers.

I can imagine Chelsea using it to keep prices down or something

It clearly wasn't meant to cover a situation where the player can't get a game -that's a breach of his rights I would have thought

West Ham have now signed Nigel Quashie to replace Mascherano.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

How many clubs does Quashie want? He can't even make up his mind what his nationality is either!!!

Apologies for the question, but I'm not familiar with the rules in UK
Probably we'd have to negotiate a new one, but seeing as he flew it 6 months ago for West Ham it'd be safe to assume he'd get it renewed moving to us. As has already been pointed out, Argentina's world ranking and his regular appearances for their national side should stand him in good stead.

                      Brilliant

They sign the better player then sell us their garbage

                      We should have signed Qushie

If a player signs a five year deal then he will get a five year work permit.

I don't know how long time he signed for when he signed for West Ham.

Really? where did you get that information from? I was under the impression it had to be renewed.

Actually, I suppose that makes sense, that the permit runs for the length of the contract.

Yeah I thought they were done on an annual basis tbh

I do know it is far easier to get one renewed than to get on in the first place though

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and goodwill shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers and you will know my name is The Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.
