even in his better seasons he was always been caught out of position usually coming inside and letting an opposing winger outflank him or being caught too far up the pitch-in his mind he thinks he's a winger plus why oh why does he always shoot :he rarely hits the target( i'll give the ones that do are something special)

It appears his texting is equally defficient

if thats' the case it is suprising he hasn't been offered a new contract - despite some people criticising him, he has been a very important first team player and has a lot to offer the team - I'd gutted and shocked if with didn't give him new contract.

With regards to form, has JAR been any worse than any others over the season, eg Alonso for arguements sake

He's been badly out of form. Just see how many times crosses come in from the left vs. the right. He's our most glaring defensive weakness.

I hope Insua is all he's cracked up to be.
