He plays, he scurries around, a few nice touchs and wait for it...scores.

Isn't that what he always did?

Why are we so intent on demanding anything more from our forwards?

None of our other forwards would have scored that goal last night.

If we were top and scoring for fun then I can understand him not playing. But we're huffing and puffing most weeks. Get him in and play him till his legs drop off from now till May.

He's a fantastic goalscorer, the best I've ever seen but he needs a run of 10 or so games to be match fit and sharp. He's like that since he had this nasty knee injury. He didn't seem to be the same since then, fitness wise.

It was a lovely finish for the goal last night, one I'm not sure Bellamy for example would have managed. Everytime I see him struggling to get round the pitch it pains me to think of how good he once was, but then he pops up with a goal a la Galatasaray and startes me thinking that he's still got it.

Having said that I just can't see Rafa taking a chance on him and starting him in Premiership games unfortunately.

Its still better than anything else we have.If my strikers did **** all for the whole game and then applied the finish when the chance came I'd be well happy.to finish is what he is primarily there for.

Maybe it's worth having a gamble on Fowler for a couple of games, we know Kuyt will run himself into the ground for the team, so maybe a Fowler/Kuyt partnership would provide the work (kuyt) and the goals (fowler) that we are looking for.

He deserves a chance as much as the others and Kuyts workrate would be a big help.He's still the only natural goalscorer we have.keep Robbie up where he's dangerous and let Kuyt run his legs off.

hardly surprising considering he hasn't featured since Galatassary (where he scored twice).

Rafa's use of him has been ****e. Why play him away to Sheff Utd & Everton? Games in which you need to work your arse off to get anything.

If a striker scores he should keep playing.
