    "Hello, is that Senor Benitez?"

    "yes, who's calling?"

"This is the CEO of DIC"

    "Oh, hello, how are you?"

"I'm fine thank you, but I hear you are not doing do well recently?"

"just a blip along the righteous path, nothing more, nothing less"

"Well I'm phoning you to see if you need a sub before we announce the actual takeover is complete"

"err, I don't know what to say, except how much are we talking about here?"

"Does £25M for the Jan transfer window sound reasonable?"

"Now that you mention, yes, there are 2, possibly 3 at a push, players I could sign with that kind of injection of cash, which will do nicely thank you, so what happens next?"

"I drop the cash, in brown paper envelopes, with Mr Parry at the front door, and he will send you a text to say it's on, sound ok?"

"Excellent, but as to who I will get in is another matter, no problem, I know my friends over at Est1892 have the answers as to which 2, possibly 3, players I can quickly get in that are not CL tied and are likely to help maintain a top 4 finish and push for a CL Final spot, I'll get back to Mr Parry in the next day or so when I've canvassed an opinion and see what the consensus is"

"No, problem, look forward to your most insightful reply on the matter, bye"

"And again, thank you very much, bye"

SSN breaking news, it has been confirmed that Liverpool have made bids for Micah Richards (RB) & Gareth Bale (LB) and Kevin Doyle (striker), subject to est1892 approval, as 3 top youngsters ready to quickly help Liverpool out of the mid-season crisis, and by offering CL Football, they quickly agreed to become LFC players, however, the other members of est1892 disagreed, and suggested instead the following................................

What about Freddie Ljungberg? he's available by the sound of things and would act as an adequate replacement for Luis. As for the rest... Villa would be nice.

Doubt he'll leave to come to us or Wenger would let him go
