He's apparently been told that he can go and Inter are showing an interest. I think you're right though regarding Wenger not letting him come to us

Is he really that old? I thought he was in his late 20's but 31 is probably right. He'd be a decent stop gap all the same.

Stevie Heighway, John Barnes & Ian Rush!
The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and goodwill shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers and you will know my name is The Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee. Javier Mascherano, Micah Richards, and going on what I've heard, Ashley Young and Giles Barnes

Those four would be good signings for the future but importantly some of them will also be very handy now, and 3 of the 4 come EPL ready, none of them are CL cup-tied. Don't think we can register that many new players in the CL though, and obviously I'd only spend the £25m on them with the promise of similar money to come in the future.

nonsense, I think Micah Richards is a possibility

Ronaldo & Beckham (would be available for not a lot), plus Villa and Gattuso.

Might be stretching the budget there, but at this moment in time we need experience.

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

And would not be avail for the CL though, I think we would prob go domestic for this window, if we ever get anything at all that is.

The lure of CL football would turn any young footballer I reckon, and would come PL ready too, although we would have to pay over the odds in comparison, but the rewards would be worth it IMO.
