I'd rather take a player on loan than fork out money on them not to do anything.

We have burnt our fingers far too many times in recent years on players with potential.
Twin boys - now arriving late August 2008.

Its gonna be Fernando and Gerrard if I get my way!

He will probably get a chance in the league the next month or so. We don't have many left sided players left right now.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Didn't the last 2 argies (oh **** - Diego's going to jump right in here isn't he??) who knew each other, who arrived together and who played together do a rather decent job of it? Seems to work better than a single isolated player doesn't it?

If you were going to work in Brazil, wouldn't you rather have a mate, or two, who you knew and did the same job even, to help you settle and get the best out of the situation, I would.

On the contrary, at this rate I think he'll be in the first team pretty ****ing sharpish.

Maybe if we were still in the CC he would

                  Left backs:

Riise - not good enough even at his best and woefully out of form

                  Warnock - not good enough

Aurelio - better deployed in midfield

I'd say he's got a grand chance of breaking into the team at left back. He hardly has Everest to climb.

Just gut feeling, I have the same feeling about most* south americans in the premiership.

Also Rafa used the dreaded "P word" when describing him, which means he'll fail miserably.
