This has come from Rawk. A member called lfc84 is in the audience and has been sending messages back to the site of what is being said. It was a question about the press pursuing Kate Middleton

dimblby says.......you have been criticised for hillsborough and what you published. you apoplogised and retrated it. would you print pics of kate middleton if murdoch told you to.

basically the reply was yes, cos murdoch is paying me to do it.

claire short jumped in and commented about the number of emails complaining about hillsborough but i coulnt quite make it out. dont want to stop tape to reply.

dimbleby says again do you stand by what you said.

short: i have had emails form people.

KM: i belive fans didnt have tickets. fans need to look at who to blame. the bit about urinating on fans and robing them came form a liverpool news agency.

short: i think you should apologise.

KM: i dont know about the robbing bit and urinating but i stand by the ticketless fans comments. the story has now become caught up in a battle between me and LFC fans.

audience heckles: you ask blair to apoloigise. why dont you.

KM: i dont have to say i am sorry.

dimbleby then calls order as audience member heckles....

now onto final question about climate change and air travel.

Man I've got a hell of a lot of respect for Claire Short. Shame she's not at the forefront of British politics anymore.

I wonder how this guy has escaped without being given a good doing over through the years, has always puzzled me that one.

If he goes down then the Police also goes down so he will continue to be protected
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Sorry, I don't understand that logic.

                I will explain my logic.

KM know things about the investiagtion that the Police doesn't want the public to know IMO.

So if they stopped protecting him and took him to court or something like that then many details about how the Police handled the investigation would look very bad for them.

Right, well your first sentence is a big assumption on your part which no-one will ever know the truth about.
Secondly, is there any suggestion that KM will go to court over his actions? He hasn't broken the law to my mind, he would have if he had named people he alleged falsehoods about, but he didn't. The pressure on him is to apologise and publically declare the mistakes and lies which he allowed to be printed.
                  Unless I'm missing something.

"Will he apologise to the families..."

...who don't have young men coming home any more?"

What an ironic statement from Kelvin McKenzie on Question Time just now.

And he was talking about whether Tony Blair would apologise to the families of soliders killed in Iraq during the Iraq war.

18 years later - I hope those very words come home to haunt him.

A mate asked me that very question after seeing the protest at the weekend... he said if the story happened to a Belfast/Glasgow team the guy would have been ended years ago.

He's now bemoaning the fact he didn't get a peerage... ken hell!

He had to squirm a bit there.

So his justification for not saying sorry is that whatever he says won't make any difference.

Just say it then, you *******!
