Fowler for me and he wins it hands down. Never was any contest whatsoever in my opinion. He could have been the greatest goalscorer in history for us as he had the talent. I never saw a finisher like him in all the years I've watched footie.

    Fowler.

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

If it wasn't for injuries, I'm sure Fowler would have broke all sorts of records for us.

He was unbelievable in the early 90's.
Twin boys - now arriving late August 2008.

Its gonna be Fernando and Gerrard if I get my way!

Lucky enough to see Fowler, Rush and owen on many occasions ...think the difference is you always know an 'owen' goal just as you do a typical 'henry' goal there was never a typical Robbie goal he had an eye for the back of the net the likes of which has never been seen in the premiership since

Fowler was a genius and did not have to work as hard as Owen to get goals.

I remember owen being interviewd after a game in which he had scored and been tremendous. Fowler was still at the club but was in his "out of favour period" under H. The interviewer asks Owen is he the new god of anfield. Owen gives yer man the hard stare and says "there will only ever be one god at anfield and its not me".

Conclusion. Even owen knew Fowler was a better player.

Fowler for me on pure talent. Owen was the better professional.

Owen got an unfair rough time but Robbie is my all time Liverpool hero(so far at least),
I remember crying my eyes out when news broke he was headin for Leeds, absolutely devastated.
What a player and what a charcter he was bang in the mid to late 90's, class act and he had an attitute about him which endeared us to him so much, genius and a complete one off, some of his finishing was out of this world, i loved the way he scored all sorts of goals - long range, tap ins, bullet headers, volleys, ****ing brilliant.

Both Liverpool Legends but i'd have 'God' over 'St Mike', that's no fault of Owen's though, he deserved a bit more respect from Liverpool fans i feel.

Owen was a very, very good player for us.

But a legend ? Nah, not for me...
