    Unbelievable.

Get him fit and he ****s on any other centre forward in the world.

Go to Wikipedia at look at his goalscoring record.

Of course the problem is getting him fit and motivated to play club football.

Signing him on loan is definitely a risk worth taking.

Let's play like Brazil, and only use our away kit for all games.

Unfortunately I think one heartbeat is all he'd last at the moment considering his fitness...or distinct lack of it. It's such a shame because like SG he wants to be loved and that is why he wants out of Madrid. He would be a great signing if fit but if he couldn't be bothered to get himself fit to play for his country in the World Cup he is unlikely to bother with the PL.

It wouldn't take long. Maybe a month.

Less so if he's getting minutes on the pitch.

How many genius players are avalible for FREE?

Remember that people said that Zidane was finished a couple of years ago, then he had a great world cup aged 34. Ronaldo is 4 years younger.

Niall he wouldn't be free. His contract expires in 2008. Madrid will want some cash.

For a million or 2 he's worth a punt IMO.

As I say players of his caliber are very rarely avalible.

And we all know he's got what it takes.

Just think of the lift it would give to the club as a whole, coupled with the Dubai takeover.

And he just wants to be adored. We've got the worlds best fans for that.

I would take him on loan, he only runs 3 km in a game but he is effective, he has great speed and knows how to finish

                            Do we need him?

I mean of our 4 forwards, I see Crouch Kuyt and Bellamy being here next season, with probably Fowler stepping out, and hopefully a "20+ goals a season" striker coming in. I'm not so sure that Ronaldo (certainly not for the long term anyway). I think it would take him too long to settle (look at chavchenko), and if he did hit any form the season would be coming to a close and we'd be looking to next season then.

I'd maybe have thought about it if he was experienced in this league, but I think at this stage and midway through a season, we probably wouldn't see the best of him.

If fit Ronaldo would rip the arse out of PL defences. He has more talent than any other striker going.
