He could spend his time in the US as a multi-millionaire anyway if he so wished.

Robbie is a legend, and always will be, I just couldn't stand watching him playing a lower class football for years to come. I want to remember all that is good about the lad, his pure genius, his greatness, the smile he displayed at the beginning of the Second Coming.

I think that - in stark contrast to Beckham - a move to the US would make a lot of sense for Robbie. He's not getting another contract, so I can imagine any offer from the States would definitely appeal.

It's 2 years out of your life - he'd be able to enjoy the new life, new culture, where few people know him (and therefore bother him) and he would know he was coming home and banking the cash. Family has to coem 1st and £6m can do them an awful lot of good.
Fowler is already rich enough though, really what difference is £6m going to make?

Obviously I'd still take it if it was offered to me and I was in his position.

Contrary to many on here, I think Fowler has done fine since his return, he's not done much apart from score but he's scored in around half the games he's played in hasn't he?

Not for those losers, he'd have to play for the mighty Reds!

Good luck to him, not that he needs the money but I hope he does get a lucrative contract.

If he does sign for a MLS team, I hope it is Dallas; so I might have the opportunity to see him play. I may actually watch MLS in that regard.
When a true genius appears in the world, you may know him by this sign, that the dunces are all in confederacy against him
