I think that´s more to the point. If we compare the players straight I´m not sure Valencia has that much better starting XI, specially the spine of both teams. Angulo is good but I wouldn´t want him today not Mista, Torres, Marchena or Rufete either. They just fit into Rafa´s philosophy at the time so I feel we got the most important man from that team, after Rafa left the same team didn´t do very well. Now they have improved considerably with Joaquin, Albiol, Mori and Villa.

Aye, he played at centre back and Owen was left out for Heskey to play a lone role up front...sorry, a lone role on the left wing. With no-one up front.

I was there and i have never before witnessed such a comprehensive victory for the away side at Anfield. It was only 1-0 (if i remember) but it may as well have been 10.....not that they created ****loads of chances but for the fact we created none and simply couldnt get hold of the ball. They went 1-0 up early doors and that was it - game over!

David Albelda would improve our team - very inteligent footballer.

But where would play him instead of Carra or Agger, or in CM?
