    I reckon he just deleted it. Ignore me!
    I'm sure we don't have permission to delete posts, even our own.

    I know the rest ignore you, but I'll listen, I have time and wide shoulders, oh - and there's sweet FA on the telly anyway!

          Personally I can't wait to see what happens, Pennant has improved a great deal in recent weeks, and it may not just be as simple as momo in and gerrard out right, which is what I initially thought it might be a case of. I think we'll see a lot of rotation with Stevie middle and right. Rafa might even adopt the tactic of playing a 5 man midfield with 3 defenders, as Momo provides decent defensive cover anyway and would limit the amount of attacks that get through to the back line.

              Well it depends who's against us. But it would be lovely to see them play together.

              1. Gerrard would get much forward and try to shoot from the edge of the penalty box (he's given up on this, I'm affraid);

              2. Alonso, the pass master would spread balls (no homo!) around and creating chances;

              3. Sissoko would cover the first two in the middle and break up any potential threats.

              But I'm affraid that those three wont play together so much, because one of them will always be rested. And if them 3 play, that means we need to play with a lone striker and I ****ing hate that style of play. So to be fair, I don't know what I want

                we should slot momo back in and put SG at RM UNTIL we sign somebody good for that position - at least for the games against the best attacking sides.

                I think we will not beat the scum, the arse or barcelona with the side and formation we won with on saturday because those sides will penetrate our back 4 with no holding CM.

                that said we might well be able to ALL the other 12 league games with saturdays team so rotation is the order of the day.

                  Why move pennant out when he's just starting to show the slightest hint that he is actually a professional footballer?

                  I also disagree with the holding mid comment, I think we need Momo for the Arsenal match, but he's certainly not necessary for the mancs match, maybe the Barca away match but not so much the home one.

                    Fair enough Cobain, i also think Gerrard is very ineffective playing behind a lone striker.

                        The best behind the lone striker is Luis Garcia. There's not anyone like him at that position.

                            When he was at Leeds he was one of the best! But he didn't prove himself for Liverpool yet in that position. Hope he does... As soon as possible...

                                Don't think people realise how imense a fit on form Harry Kewell can be (which is fair enough seeing as he's hardly ever been in that condition since he signed with us). Can be right up there with the Carra's, Gerrard's, Alonso's and Kuyt's
