Mcmanaman in his prime would be my second choice though, based purely on what kind of player i think could improve the team at the moment.

For me it would have to be John Barnes - would fit right into Rafas style of play and give us more 'possibilities'.

A close second would (I am sure you will disagree) be Michael Owen. Pace and goals - how we could do with that right now.

Kenny is to old now so it must be Owen.

If you take away the age factor then it would be McManaman just because we need a right winger.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Definitely John Barnes at his peak. He was unplayable and would tear the arse of all premiership defences.

                          Ian Rush.

He was quite good at scoring goals I seem to recall.
What have I learned, Mr Mackay? Three things. One - bide your time. Two - keep your nose clean. And three - don't let the *******s grind you down

John Barnes without a shadow of a doubt. For me he was the reason why I started supporting Liverpool. I wasn't around in Kenny's days.

But there's no Dalglish, Beardsley, Barnes etc to create for him. He would be wasted in our current side.

Digger's my choice. At his best he could take a whole team on and that's the sort of winger we've been crying out for every season since Mcmanaman left.
