Are you really just Andy Van De Mede (SP Can't be arsed looking it up) and is this some sort of transference?

The million quid a year I'd be siphoning out of their transfer fund and fans pockets would help me resist the temptation I think!

But to be honest if I was good enough to play for them I'd probably just try and get a contract somewhere inoffensive if Liverpool didn't want me.

A couple of years ago my youngest daughter (who was only 10 at the time) went on a Man Utd summer coaching scheme and they wanted to sign her for their junior girls' team. Although she naturally supports Liverpool she was quite keen to join them but then when she returned to school she gave up football to concentrate on netball and hockey!

My eldest lad also got a certificate from them as 'Player of the Tournament' a few years ago from a similar coaching academy they run in Timperley. As much as I hate Man U I was proud of both of them and happy that they had 'achieved' something. I encourage them to display all their trophies and certificates regardless of where they're from.

On a similar note, a mate of mine called Neil (who was a member on KT) is a massive Liverpool fan even though he was born in Manchester and raised literally in the shadows of Old Trafford (until a few years ago he lived on the road alongside PC World right by the stadium!) Neil's got all his FA coaching badges (he's better qualified than Stuart Pearce and Gareth Southgate) and was offered a job at Man U's training ground at Carrington. He was initially loathe to accept but his Dad (who's from Kirkby and another big Liverpool fan) told him it was just a job and a good career move so he took the job. Besides, he told me he wears his Liverpool shirt underneath his Man U training gear!!
There is a light that never goes out. RIP Alan "Mally" Johnston and the 96. YNWA.

Signing for Everton wouldn't make me very professional would it?

                I'd kill myself

Nah, tbh, I'd always give 100%. Being professional is all about that ain't it (sorry, innit )?

However, I'd probably **** my pants when I'd come to Anfield
