It wouldn't be the first time.

At the end of the day they have to do whats right for the cub and the DIC deal was obviously not as good as first thought.

Perhaps they revised their offer after completing due dilligence or perhaps Gillete's revised offer was far better for the club than what DIC were offering. If it's the latter then that can only be good for the club.

If someone came in and offered you a few million more - What would you do ? Also Moores has to consider the other shareholders as well.

Delaying tactic, possibly, but Parry will have spoken too both parties before this would have broken - I wouldn't read too much into it - Also it effectiveley means no £20 million player by tomorrow night !!!!!
I make no apologies, this is me

For the moment, I'm calm as none of us really know what's going on.

I just hope all this bull sh!t's over soon because it may well start getting embarrassing if it drags on further.

I completely agree. If the bid was absolutely 100% right it wouldn't have been rejected.

            Bid hasn't been rejected.....FACT.

LFC are still considering their position, however DIC remain strong contenders....FACT.

You don't spend several months reviewing the books/having the books reviewed, performing due diligence etc etc and then rush into a deal.

LFC are considering the finer detail, as are DIC, this is media frenzy because the deal hasn't been done before the end of the transfer window.

Don't forget, we're not talking about buying a motor through AutoTrader, we're talking about a multi-million pound, long-term investment.

            They don't happen quickly

Now go and feed the baby ffs!

Okay the bid hasn't been rejected but that is what SSN initialy said.. Perhaps what I should have said was that " if the deal was 100% right it wouldn't have been stalled."

All Companies undergoing Due Diligence have a responsibilty to investigate ALL bids. Especially as a plc - to ensure their doing their best for their shareholders. Corporate governance etc. Don't panic just yet.

I don't think there is a need to panic at all. When the right deal is on the table it'll be accepted. Until then we can carry on as we are and to be fair we're not doing to badly are we?

It is believed there are other board members - including representatives from Granada, who own 10% of the club - who also want to think again about Gillett's terms.
For m, this is the main stumbling block.
I have been thinking this as soon as Gillette came in with an bigger offer than Dubai. Why would the shareholders, who arein love with LFC (Granada...) want to take DIC bid over the Gillette bid, its all about money for them, unlike Moores, who I believe will take the best offer for the club rather than the most money.
I admittedly know nothing of investment, but this would be what worries me, are the club now going to ask DIC for more money? I really hope this Gillette ******* doesnt **** everything up, our very own Glazier, great.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.
