wow! i hope you don't teach your daughter to think like that. just because someone says the right things and comes across with the right ideas doesn't make them the right choice. many who've fallen for that game have lived to regret it. the fact that they are now acting like a petulant child gives me cause for concern. maybe it's for the best, only time will tell.

why not do a little research and read up on gillett before getting his name wrong (it's not gillette, as in the shaving empire) or slagging him off. you're just making yourselves sound even more moronic. i'm not a fan as i've previously stated but for DIC to run off crying is enough to put me off them. can't handle a little competition?

as for the rest of you who are telling the yanks to "fcuk off", nice impression of the club you're giving people. do you take that xenophobia on the road with you to away games, or are you only ballsy enough to voice it when you're hiding behind a computer? fcuking pussies ... you should be ashamed of yourselves. i'd like to see how quick you are to talk such ****e when a yank is standing in front of you!

when things go wrong, don't walk away.
    that'll only make it harder.

      Surely not...........

Did Rafa know beforehand? Why the late flurry of cheap transfer activity?
Yeah they said that Liverpools board was very unprofessional in the dealings.....according to DIC that is. Vinny O'Connor was reporting on SNN a few minutes ago and thats what they said.

I understand what you say and really hope they do but I think DIC is a closed chapter now.
gulf arabs - the rich ones not ordinary folk - are often MIND BLOWINGLY haughty

this is gulf-arab pique in my view.

it is the right of moores/the lfc board to cosider an alternative offer

Hopefully DIC will be the same

That points out how the Club is thought of by investors rather well, it's just an asset!

The next question is........... Is our American richer than the other Americans?

Although on SNN that they said Gillette could have the deal all done in the next few days. Liverpool have been very impressed by the way he's handled the situation.

Only thing is we will become what we mocked Man Utd Buccaners etc.........

I must admit, an apprently serious investor throwing their rattle out the pram just because they've got some competition doesn't sound like the type of investor I want.

Unprofessional ?????? Don't make me laugh, they're not perfect by any means but when people who have absolutely no idea about the requirements placed on a board of directors of a company and go off on a tangent blaming Moores and Parry for everything without knowing the full facts it annoys me slightly.

A board of directors are obliged by the fiduciary duty they owe to shareholders to act in the shareholders best interests. They had to consider the higher offer that came in because it may be in the shareholders' best interests. To do otherwise could lead to breaches of company law.
