Oh please, I do a lot of business in the middle east, events organising. They are some of the worse for playing crocked, I have lost count of the number of times I've been told they will do something, then they disappear or the number of signed legal contracts that have been dishonoured. Don't believe that Arabs are men of honour, they are the same as everyone else when it comes to looking after their interests, even if it means going back on a promise.

Just logged on and seen the news, gutted yes but that's business for you. There'll be plenty of shenanigans going on in the background and bluffs and counter bluffs in the public eye. We HAVE to trust Parry & Moores, who are BOTH Liverpool supporters.

DIC was the ONLY option available since the news break off one month or so ago and the way was clear for them, so it seemed that way, with Gillett having being dismissed by journalists alike, and with talks of him favoring a ground share etc ... Now, that Gillett has seemingly seriously entered the fray, it makes business sense for the club to analyze the offer he's putting on the table.

So why has DIC 'pulled' out of this deal ? Is that bluff ? At the end of the day, the club HAS to make a decision by the end of the week for the stadium construction to start in March, so with DIC seemingly not interested anymore, will they accept Gilletts bid ? mmmm ... I doubt that the club is prepared to go through that process again though ... So I'd say, chill out and I have a feeling that things don't look as bad at it seems.

I just get a better feeling about DIC, i know feck all but the way they have run Gdolphin is impressive.

I am depressed and angry but none of it is directed at Moores & Parry - after all, I don't have a ****ing clue what's gone on. None of us do.

The main reason is I am not remotely convinced by Gillett whereas I was, after some initial scepticism, thoroughly impressed by DIC - or at least, impressed by what little I knew about them.

Gillett wanted to groundshare. He then finds out most fans want to vomit at the very thought of it. So he "changes his mind" and withdraws that particular facet of his proposal.

Who's to say, once he takes over, he won't do what the **** he likes and press on with the groundshare?

I am going to need some SERIOUS convincing over this Gillett bloke.

And for the record, it has **** all to do with him being American FFS.

I'm not disagreeing with you but that works two ways. If we were part of DIC - doesn't that mean we'd be in the "family" and made to succeed at all costs?

Im actually pro America, i love the feckin place. Im just very dubious about this Gillette guy, wasnt he gona try and buy Newcastle at one point.

Just hope we get some clarification from the club soon. Let us know the full facts.
