For everyone freaking out about this latest investment development, how do you know that this is such bad news?

If Moores can't convince the board to back him in this buy-out it tells you all you need to know about how appropriate DIC's bid was. Secondly, it may well be the case that there is a better deal out there that the board feels is more in the interest of the club.

While it's not good to see that things aren't going to be concluded this month, it's not worth rushing in to a deal with anyone if it's not the right deal.

Well I must say I am as surprised as everyone else on here with the news.

I had my heart set on DIC taking over the club, but it now looks like Gillett is in the controling seat having gone through due diligence in 3 days! He doesn't mess around this guy does he! He seem to really want the club but unfortunately I know nothing of the guy.

Hope it all turns out in ou favour soon, one way or another.
