I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06
Are you watching Manchester United? Are you watching Chelsea? This is Liverpool F.C taking over the bloody world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No way would you get that many LFC fans with 500 quid burning a hole in their pockets.
It's a lovely idea but it's implausible. Even if we bought Moores, we'd then be saddled with a 70 million odd debt and a commitment to a new stadium, plus we'd be potless.
! million times 500 pound 500 million what doesn;t add up?
also 18 million fans worldwide apprently those are the figures again what doesn't add up, also the more richer fans put in the less others would
500 million would buy the club and pay for the new stadium in fact would beat the reported DIC bid approximate bid by 50 million again what doesn't add up?
as you said it is lovely idea which is all it is an IDEA which is more than others have come up with
Not slagging you for having an idea, I'm sure many have pondered it. What i'm saying is your figure of 1 million REDS who would be able let alone willing to give 500 quid away is unrealistic.

the fact that i'd give away 3000 means 5 wouldn't have to
alright that leaves 999,995 but couple that with reds who have more money than me, then the overall figure of fans wouldn't be 1 million would it.
ok so the generalo concensus on this site is that it's a **** idea right know where i stand then.

Erm.. hate to not be "Little Miss Ray of Sunshine...." but thats also a hell of alot of members who also have to agree on things which as passionate as LFC supporters (sod footlball) are - isn't going to happen!!!!

Nice idea but I don't think this is practical.

How many members on The Board at present?
And they can't agree about The two options available?
It will be tough to get a Million People to Agree about anything.
"For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son"
Does this mean that every time Rafa wants a player - we all have to stump up £10. Should I have a standing order to pay the wages.
Do we all get a free season ticket - stadium capacity needs to be 500,000. Altho that would be a great atmosphere on Euro nights - not sure the chippy on Priory Road would cope.
Lets not beat about the bush i am seriously pissed off as are probaly every one on here but whats stopping a fan consortium? I know i may be talking bollocks but apparently worldwide liverpool support is 18 million fans right how about we all pledge 500 pound sterling per input to raise the relevant amount to buy the club outright.
Even at that rate thats 9 billion pounds. If only 1/9th of supporters agree thats a billion pounds 2 million supporters paying 500 pounds each which is a billion pounds is a billion DIC were prepared to pay inculding costs of the new staduim 450 million which means that if 1 million Liverpool supporters pledge 500 pounds then we the supporters can buy the club.
and save our dignity tradition and honour
is there any way this can happen if so i personally will pledge and pay 3000 pounds which is half my current liife saving s to help and suppport this club.
please i don't want my team to go into massive debt or under any control other than the people it belongs to.
Barcelona did it why can't we??????/
we couldf even have Kenny DAlglish as life president and in contrrol of the club in our intrests as we all know that he loves lives and believes out traditions.

'Football is a simple game based on the giving and taking of passes, of controlling the ball and of making yourself available to receive a pass. It is terribly simple.'
a handfull of people on a forum argue about who's **** and who's not
2Million it will be war
let alone the fact everyone complains about ticket prices, shirt prices and get there stuff from non official outlets.
2M fans to stump up 500 quid and not even go to a game, you have 45k everyweek complaining about the price of the hot chocolate.
Maybe Dunk will buy some shares and put them on E-bay. After they are bought, which will be somewhere around 10k pounds I reckon, he will then make Steve to make fake ones, send them to the buyer and send the money to Lauren Forsyth (= into Dunks wallet).
Don't be surprised if it happens one day...
