I would not want an 'elitist' fan base owning the club just because they have excess income. If the fans are to buy it all fans should have the chance equally.
50 quid? We'd need about 4-5 million takers then

    Is that feasible?

Well we are meant to have millions all over the world arent we? Besides, a lad me da works with owns a slice of Barca, he isnt exactly a fan, he's also got a season ticket at Goodison.

Bottom line is, if the fans are going to do something then all of them should be involved, not those who just happen to have a few bob.

I agree with that. But do we have that many people who would pay?

You'd need some way of ensuring that all the people paying 50 quid are fans though.

If its £50 a time then yeah we probably would. It can be bought as a present, people who cant afford to go the game can muster £50, christ even those on thedole would get a crisis loan to buy into it.

Why? Who gives a ****? £50 per person tops. no one person has more or less, LFC get the money and when it comes to a ote, there are going to be more LFC fans than none fans. Besides, if you buy shares you dont have to be a fan of a company do you? Im sure Stuart Morse owns shares in Millwall and he aint a fan.

More fool them for givin us £50. What are they going to do with their share?

I suppose as long as there was a board of directors appointed it wouldn't really matter.

And im sure there would be. that can be sorted with share holders meetings, like supporters club meetings. People can be nominated and so on and it can come about that way.

So are you in favour then Mr Glove?

I suppose ideas like this suffer from the inertia in getting it off the ground more than anything. I'd be in favour, would we be a PLC though or would we be a privately owned company, owned by a massive consortium?

If it was done like Ive said then yeah Id give it a go. Ive got £50 spare. If it was a case of fans stumping up 3k then no Im not in favour.

I have no idea if its a plc or a consortium or a franchise. I think we'd be a fans consortium wouldnt we?

Sad fact of life though. It's far more elitist having one seriously **** off rich guy own the club.
