so this transfer window we have signed:
insua, padelli, brouwer, mascherano, duran, arbeloa, ajdarevic, huth, dalle valle and bouanzis.

Basically 14 year old (15 now?) finnish/italian attacker/midfielder that have scored a lot of goals. Did well in Inters youth set-up, but moved back to Finland.

So much for the we will only sign Neill this window thing
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
and none of them were expected or predicted by anyone.

I read somewhere that Dalla Valle went back to Finland to finish his education or military service or something...not signing for us now.
Yeah, I was fairly sure that Dalla Valle hadn't signed which I was really hoping he would. Sounds like an incredible striker. Something like 150 goals in 100 games wasn't it? And to come from the Inter reserves and then to Liverpool you would imagine he is pretty special. I'm also fairly sure that Inter were really unhappy that he did not settle.
Found this about him (maybe) in Wikipedia:
Lauri Dalla Valle (s. 1991) on suomalainen jalkapalloilija. Dalla Valle on pelannut neljä alle 15-vuotiaiden maaottelua.
Urheilulehti arvioi lokakuun 2006 numerossaan Dalla Vallen lupaavimmaksi vuonna 1991 syntyneeksi suomalaispelaajaksi.
Lauri Dalla Vallen isä on Joensuussa herkkutattien vientiyritystä johtava Loreno Dalla Valle.
This basically says Dalla Valle is back in Finland from Inter Milan and Liverpool has been interested in him.
He's now playing with team called Jippo which is playing at Finnish first division in next season.
Jippo's homepages told he just played in friendly with his team (at age of 15) and scored one, assisted one an missed a penalty. He played on the right side of midfield and was the best player in that game.

"In fact I’m going to make a promise which will be welcomed by many. If there’s no finance secured by the opening day of the season, I’m going to hang up my keyboard and close KOPTALK down." - Duncan Oldham, Expert Conman. March 29th 2006
The Youth team/Reserves should also be used to generate money for buying Full team players.
If our scouts sign a promising youngster for less than a million and he`s doesn`t make the grade or there are other fantastic youngsters who play in the same position we should still be able to profit. It`s good buisness.
