It's a shame but I expected better..to be honest he sounds like a bit of a prat to me.

The thing is just because they are our favourite players, it's not a given that they are ok blokes. Some of them at least must be boring arseholes at best
it's worth it for the CL stuff along with chelski saga and a bit about the Euro's,
I wasn't going to get it but was in the book shop, picked it up and started reading about Istanbul. Got all emotional and bought the damned thing. Entertang but not that insightful (except for Istanbul(

I've read the first 2 chapters and there's only so many ways you can actually describe how much you liked football as a kid, and he's done that now about 50 times.
Is it worth carrying on?
I really can't see the appeal of books 'written' by 20 somthing footballers or popstars.
I got about half way through it, and just put it down, and have not gone back to it. Only reason I read as much as I did was the subject matter. Found it a very poor read.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Oh dear,i just bought it a week ago, haven`t started it yet.
Best EVER football autobiography is Tony Cascarino's - FACT.
Although, if I remember rightly, didn't he slag the **** out of David O'Leary? Said everyone he came across ended up hating him? If so, that's good enough for me!
Or was it Glenn Hoddle?
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
Back on topic, I've started it but really struggled and haven't read any of it for about a week. It's ****, frankly, although I'll probably finish it over the weekend. Possibly.
