Bryan Robosn was far from being superman but it never seemed to bother him.

I honestly can't see the problem. Really hope he gets it.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Indeed he wasn't - however the pressures of the modern game are ever so different.

      Ask big Phil...

In all honestly if he does get appointed i'll be made up for him, i genuinely will as i know he'd love it.

        I agree.

I like Gerrard concentrating on Liverpool but I wouldnt be arsed if he was England captain as I know he is Liverpool before England.

Im getting worried about Crouch though, I think he is straying to much in to the 'im an Englandplayer' rathether than 'Im a Liverpool player' camp, he needs to step back.

            Agree!

I'd be gutted if Lampard would be selected as England captain... Or John Terry for that matter... The best captain for England is Gerrard! He might be quiet off the pitch but on it, he is a real menace! And that's what England needs!

Yes he does, no doubt. But, I'd rather him take us to the next level than to deal with stupidities such as dealing with the next Andorra or San Marino game.

If Gerrard can't do it, no one can.

It's about time England had a real captain.

I hope he picks an argument with McClaren and retires from International Footy

I don't he needs to worry too much. If we get Kuyt I don't think he'll be starting too many games for club OR country.

Surely Ashton's introduction into the scene now too, means Crouch is being slowly shuffled out of the setup?

Bent, Defoe, Ashton are being brought back in by McClaren.

All are better than Rodders, and arguably Ashton can do a similar job, but with added goal threat.

Even Marlon Harewood's better than Crouch.
