Talk of transfer kitty's is silly.

We won't have £150m for players in one window, let alone spend it all, Rafa isn't type to do that.

Where the American takeover does make a difference is allowing Rafa to go that little bit extra to obtain a target. Last summer for example. He would've had to have sold Cisse to have enough funds to buy both Kuyt and Alves. Cisse got injured and Alves didn't arrive.

Hopefully that kind of situation doesn't arise again.

But I admit it would be nice to be able to buy a top class player, a finished article who could come in and immediately improve the team, and at the same time send a message out that we mean business. We already know that Demento and Mourinho are scared of Rafa right now, but with a bit extra cash?

It was Anderson I wanted to start for the first team last season.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Surely Kaka would need to be in the dream list lads

It'd be a mystery signing Richards.
I can't think of a single one who I'd like. Suggesting Bale is pointless - he's going to the Scum in the summer.

We do need one though. It'd be nice if Insua is the business but at 17 talk of him being the no.1 LB next year would seem a touch premature.

Richards would be a fantastic signing. Offering cover at right back (Finnan turns 31 soon) and centre back (where one is clearly needed, with Sami on his last legs), he'd a great acquisition. Chances are City'd ask for ridiculous money though.

Alves, Klose and Villa should be the three main targets. If Kewell won't be fit enough then Van der Vaart, Pedersen or Mata would be a good replacement.

Lahm. He is probably the best left back in the World.

I dunno how much of a future Wayne Bridge has at Chelsea but I wouldn't mind him - he's been more impressive than Cole whenver he's played this season. He knows some of the squad, wouldn't have the issue of 'adapting' and would be an improvement on Riise.

My only issue would be having someone in the squad called Wayne.

My point was we now have a star-RB-signing in Arbeloa.

Would it be an issue if that inbred little **** Rooney had signed?

Without a doubt, but he's a boy-hood Bayern fan, is he no?

There'd be more issues than just his name.

I vividly remember you saying the same about Hammill before you started with all the Anderson bollocks. I think he was only 16 at the time. We all laughed

Ok, maybe not 2m though, surely planned for the first team though.

He may turn out to be a right tit though (Areola) i know nothing about him.
