He likes a stepover or 2 doesn't he

Looks fairly confident, trying(successfully) to take on his man
, and also has a strong build.

Is he right or left footed?

    Thanks for posting that FFF

thanks for that fox and modokay
playing with confidence anyway. beatinf his man a couple of times on the left and right. Think there is a little too much hype about him so far though.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

      * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

yeah what a glaring opportunity that was. Can only get better in that department the more the more he finds himself in space like that. I hope.

Like I said before, I'm not knocking the lad but whenever I've seen him play for our youth team he reminds me of loads of talented lads in my eldest son's junior league who try too many tricks or try to take too many people on rather than just keeping it simple and passing the ball. At his age he needs to be more of a team player rather than always trying to impress the fans.

It also goes to show once again that the Scottish leagues are a much poorer standard than English reserve team football...

Only thing i would add to that is though, if you ask him not to try things, he will be sacrificing some of his potential tallent. I dont mind him trying it in the right areas, but not deep in his own half. His end product should get better too.

Like I said, I watched quite a bit of the FA Youth Cup winning side and he came across as a bit too selfish and often mad the wrong decisions. I know he is still young but he's at an age when he needs to start turning his massive potential into the end product. A loan spell in a league with far less pressure and low expectation will do him the world of good. Watch this space as they say...

It hasnt done Garcia any harm for getting a game in the first team

i wouldnt judge anyone on highlight clips
nor on how they perform in other leagues be they scottish or spanish
all that matters is when they play for us are they up to standard
seen far too many players come in with reputations ahead of them only to flop
