Xabi is technically the better player, but I think Carrick has contributed more to Utd's success this season than Xabi has to ours. Then again he did cost an absurd amount of money, but I suppose if you've got it you might as well spend it.

They cost roughly the same amount, so i dont think we can bring in prices. It will only cost United towards the region of around 18 mill (i think) if they win a load of things, which i don't suppose they'd complaing about.

I like Xabi, but have been a bit concerned about his performances this season. I'm still undecided on this one. Nice question, i fancy.

It's players like Vidic, Evra, Scholes, Ronaldo and Giggs who have contributed a hell of alot to utd stunning performances this season.

Untrue... i've caught a lot of games of Utd this season and he's been very assured. He's featured in many spots on MoTD early on this season as well.

He may not be stunning and catch the eye but he's effective. No question at all.

Nothing. I presume a midfield of Scholes, Ronaldo and Giggs (all ultra defensive) manage to carry the ****er to the top of the league.
