So how do you REALLY feel?

Well it's been an interesting week or so.

People calling for Moores and Parrys heads.
Crying into their hankies over the DIC's etc.

So after all the ripples are settling how you you REALLY feel about the
    US invasion of Ira....er Liverpool?

As long as the Club moves forward I don't mind.

I think that we are on the brink of a new succesful era - we now have the investment and can look forward to success and stability

well am happy its all done and dusted but we will only know if it was a good option in a year or two i think maybe longer. Also will never know if it was better that DIC offer.

My heart prefers the DIC involvement in the club to americans
                  but will wait and see

we all thought Glaser putting scum into debt was the end of them and they go and spend 18m on Carrick and will prob win the PL this year.

These seem on 1st hour the type of people you want running the club
Its times like these we learn to live again FF

Without being naive enough to suggest that Gillett isn't capable of using a little encouraging rhetoric, I think he came across really well in the PC. Said the right things and hasn't made any bones about his intentions. Essentially, the things that had me most excited were his comments regarding the new stadium; something to the effect of, "We plan to build the best facility known to this sport", which sounds alright like.

                          Indifferent.

Thatcher privatised all the industries in the 80s, couldn't do anything about it.
Blair is using PFI to privatise everything else, couldn't do anything about it.
English football is cashing in and is doing the same with its premier clubs, still couldn't do anything about it.

Ever feel small in the grand scheme of things?

All I can do is continue to support my beloved Reds in whatever manner I can, what happens "up there with the suits" is way out of my control, the only thing I can control is whether the team has my full support, it always has, it always will (unless they move the franchise to MK of course!)

It was inevitable and a sign of the times, but I'm certainly not ecstatic, nor am I bitter as ****, just indifferent to the whole thing, and glad that it is all over at last.

I feel excited but still quite worried about their future intensions. I was really convinced that DIC were the perfect investors but thats gone now and the Americans have my support.
